Mrs. Loretta (Perfetti) Sacco, 86 of Hanson formerly of Boston died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at home. The daughter of the late Giovanni and Pellegrina (Turchi) Perfetti, she was born in Boston on August 11, 1923. She was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Mrs. Sacco worked as a Riveter during WWII helping building planes.
Wife of the late Felice A. Sacco, she is survived by 2 sons Anthony J. Sacco and his wife Ann of Hanson and Philip J. Sacco and his wife Phyllis of Hanson, 4 daughters, Roberta Kailher and her husband Robert of Halifax, Rosemary Carey and her late husband Michael of Hanson, Loretta Dickson and her husband Wayne of Plymouth and Christine Clegg and her husband William of Hanson, 2 sisters, Mary Fiore of Illinois and Lea Sorgi of Braintree, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Renato Perfetti.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the Corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson.
In lieu of flowers donations in Loretta's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02472 or to the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay, Attn: International Response Fund, 139 Main St, Cambridge, MA 02142-1530.
