Mr. Jerome Robert Kopitsky, 83 of Hanover formerly of Ocean View NJ and Shamokin PA died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. Mr. Kopitsky was a Retired Master Sergeant in the Army and served in WWII and Korea.
Husband of the late Emma (Wolf) Kopitsky, he is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Kopitsky and his wife Marianne of NC and John Kopitsky and his wife Cyndy of NJ, 1 daughter Rosemarie Pearce and her husband Joseph of Hanover, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association 135 Park Ave, Staten Island NY 10305.
