Mrs. Phyllis J. (Jones) Hilton, 83 of Norwell died Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. The daughter of the late Lee and Winifred (Lee) Jones, she was born in Portland ME on August 29, 1926. She had formerly been employed as a bookkeeper, enjoyed playing bridge, and was active at her husband's former church, the First Spiritual Church of Quincy. She enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Lawrence T. Hilton Jr., 3 children, Bruce Everett Hilton of FL, Lawrence T. Hilton III of North Reading and Pamela Hilton- Hultman of Norwell. She was the grandmother of Nancy, Jennifer, Adam, Eliza, Paige, Corinne and Sophia and was the sister of the late Joy Dunning and Lee Jones Jr.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on THURSDAY from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service in the funeral home on SATURDAY at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 25 Shawmut Rd, Canton MA 02021.
